NHS - Fee paying patients
There are three NHS charge bands:
Emergency treatment: £27.40
Band 1 : £27.40 - covers an examination, diagnosis and advice. If necessary, it also includes X-rays, a scale and polish, and planning for further treatment.
Band 2: £75.30- covers all treatment included in Band 1, plus additional treatment, such as fillings, root canal treatment and removing teeth (extractions).
Band 3: £326.70 - covers all treatment included in Bands 1 and 2, plus more complex procedures, such as crowns, dentures and bridges.
NOTE - Fees are collected by the practice at the beginning or examination stage, before booking for additional or complex treatments
NHS - exemption from paying fees
It is for the patient to inform us at the appointment if they are eligible for full or partial exemption. The team can explain categories of exemption,and view any suitable evidence provided at the time of appointment.
Please note that it is always the patient whose responsibility it is to declare their exemption, not the team. Patients who incorrectly claim exemptions have to pay their penalty charge. For more information, visit the nhs website:

The cost if for each silver amalgam filling. Larger fillings are at higher end of cost range
Tooth Coloured filling

The cost if for each tooth coloured composite or glass-ionomer material tooth coloured filling. Larger fillings are at higher end of cost range

Tooth Whitening

Price is for dentist supported, patient applied tray-based tooth whitening. Dentists will determine if you are suitable, then discuss the options, pros/cons about this treatment.
Composite Bonding

Composite bonding can transform your smile and is generally used issues such as stained, chipped, or crooked teeth. In some cases it can also align slightly misaligned teeth for patients who prefer not to undergo orthodontic treatment. Composite bonding can effectively fix minor dental issues.
Sports Mouthguard

APPOINTMENT CHARGES
Appointments that are booked with us
Failed or Short notice cancelled appointments
£125 per hour
Patients booked with us for private treatments are charged at this rate. Applied at discretion of the practice when a patient either fails to keep the appointment, or cancels with less than 24 hours notice
